Week 1: Build Your Lab (continue)

Finish install VMs

1. After build out initial VMs on the Hyper-V, turn on all the VMs created by the scripts
2. Username: Administrator/password: Passw0rd!

   

3. DC01, and Connect and finish up the rest of the settings

   

4. Reboot the DC01

   

5. Repeat the above steps to FS01 and SCVMM01
6. For Hyper-V01 and Hyper-V02, connect to the VMs and finish setup with default Next.

   

7. Install now

   

8. Input Password

   

9. Restart Hyper-V01 and 02

   

10. Yes to reboot Hyper-V01 and 02 VMs

    

Configure each VMs

1. DC01: Follow the instruction to run the scripts to change the VM name to DC01 and promote to Contoso.com domain controller

   

2. DC01 is rebooted automatically after all the configuration. Now, log on with Contoso\Administrator with a password of Passw0rd!

   

   

3. FS01: Run the script as instructed and input domain Admin credentials to join to the domain

   

4. When the Storage Pool script is completely run, disconnect FS01 since all is ready.

   

5. On Hyper-V01, connect to the VM and log in
6. Next as it appears

   

7. Windows Update off

   

8. Next as it appears

   

9. Select Local System account

   

10. Select to set the MSSCVMMLibaray share location

    

     

    

11. Install

    

12. Close

    

13. Connect

    

14. Finish SCVMM01 and DC01 Setup as instructed
15. Shutdown all the VMs

Create Snapshot before starting to LAB

1. Select all the VMs
2. Right Click Checkpoint

   

3. Click each VM to rename the snapshot as Start LAB point (date and time)
