On Workstation 9, add Network Adapter 4 as NAT as on ESXi2

Right Click on ESXi2 and Reboot

Enter an appropriate reason to proceed
- Go back to vSphere Client and on ESXi2, Configuration Tab>Networking. Open Properties for vSwitch0

Select Network Adapters Tab and Add

Select vmnic3 and Next

Select Management Network and select vmnic3 to move down to Standby Adapters

Finish

After adding vmnic3, it shows up as below

On the properties of vSwitch0, Select VM Network> NIC Teaming> Turn on Override switch failover order

select Management network and Edit > NIC Teaming> select vmnic3 to move down to standby adapters

Still on vSwitch0 properties> click ADD

Click VMKernel

Change the network label to vMotion and check Use this port group for vMotion

Set vMotion IP for ESXi2 as 192.168.72.142

Finish

On vMotion Properties, NIC Teaming > Check Failover Order> and move down vmnic0 to Standby Adapters

The network settings will be shown as like below

Repeat to ESXi1

On ESXi1, set vMotion IP to 192.168.72.141

Open vMotion Properties

On Workstation 9, open Virtual Network Editor> create a VMnet2 network with Host-Only
- It assigns 192.168.148.0 network automatically
- On ESXi1, set 192.168.148.141 for Fault Tolerance Network, and on ESXi2, set 192.168.148.142.

Power down ESXi Hosts and add two new network adapters and assign on 192.168.148.0 network.

On ESXi1, Configuration> Networking> click Add Networking

Select VMKernel

Select both new vmnic4 and vmnic5

Name it to Fault Tolerance and check on Use this port group for Fault Tolerance Logging

Set F.T. IP to 192.168.148.141/24

Click Properties of vSwitch2> select Fault Tolerance> Edit to open Properties

On NIC Teaming, Turn on Failover Order and move down vmnic5 to standby adapters
- Repeat to ESXi2 Host

Set F.T. IP for ESXi2 to 192.168.148.142/24

Set NIC Teaming Failover order and move down vmnic5 to Standby Adapters side

The network settings on ESXi2 will be shown as below

On DC3, right click and Fault Tolerance> Turn On Fault Tolerance
